Childish books distributed among students

Kanaighat Sustian Forum, a platform of the students of Kanaighat upazila in Sylhet who are studying at Shahjalal University of Science and Technology (SUST), has distributed childish books among the students of two schools.

The book distribution ceremony was held at the auditorium of Surma High School under Rajaganj union at Kanaighat upazila on Thursday. The programme was arranged with the support of several other organisations of Kanaighat upazila, including Kanaighat Student Association, Chhinnamul Shishu Unnoyon Songstha ‘Swapnachura’ and Bichchhuran Sahitya Sangsad.

A total of 130 students of Surma High School and Mirzargarh Government Primary School received childish books at the function.

Central vice president of Bangladesh Non-Government Teachers' and Employees' Forum Sajid Miah attended the function as the chief guest with senior teacher of  Surma High School Azmol Hossain in the chair. President of ‘Swapnachura’ Mahfuzur Rahman Rasel conducted the programme.

President of Kanaighat Sustian Forum Asif Ajhar inaugurated the programme, while teacher of Surma High School Mohon Chondo Chondo delivered the welcome speech. Headmaster of Mirzargarh Government Primary School Tofayel Ahmed Chowdhury, Fakhruzzaman Chowdhury, Anjan Kumar Das, Ali Ahmed Masud, Ruhel Ahmed, Akram Bulbul, Shakira Jesmin and Ruksana Begum spoke at the event, among others.

SSC examinee Mihadur Rahman Juyel, Class Ten students Albab Ahmed, Nahid Ahmed and Nadim Ahmed also spoke at the event.
