Call to follow ideology of Prophet Muhammad

Government officials and Islami thinkers at a discussion in Rangpur have called upon the people to follow the ideals of the greatest man on the earth Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH) to build a peaceful society, reports BSS. 

They said the people, who have followed the ideals of the Prophet (PBUH), have been turned into golden people and they will be awarded with the Zannatul Ferdous by the Almighty Allah. They were addressing the discussion organised by Islamic Foundation at its auditorium in Rangpur city in observance of the holy Eid-e- Miladunnabi on Thursday afternoon. Khatibs, Peas Imams and Imams of different mosques, Islami thinkers and researchers from all over the district attended the discussion. Divisional Commissioner KM Tariqul Islam addressed the discussion as the chief guest with Rangpur Divisional Director of Islamic Foundation Md. Mohiuddin Chowdhury in the chair.

Deputy Commissioner Md. Asib Ahsan attended the occasion as special guest while Assistant Director of Rangpur Divisional Office of Islamic Foundation Shamsul Haque delivered the welcome speech. Khatib of Rangpur Keramotia Jam-e-Mosque Alhaj Moulana Mohammad Bayezid Hussaine presented the keynote speech on the life and deeds of Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH). The chief guest called for following the ideals of Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH) who brought the light of purification for the whole humankind and his real followers have become successful in purifying them for both the worlds. He called upon the Khatibs and Pesh Imams and Imams of different mosques to deliver special ‘Khutba’ before the Juma prayers in the light of the Holy Quran and Hadith about negative impacts of terrorism, militancy, extremism, drugs and other social curses.

 Besides, the IFB, Bangladesh Shishu Academy, different institutions and organisations including mosque authorities, literary and religious bodies chalked out elaborate daylong programmes in observance of the Holy Eid-e-Miladunnabi today (Friday).

Later, a special munajat was offered seeking continuous peace, prosperity, progress and development of the country and its people and the Muslim Ummah and the humanity as a whole.
