Bangladesh Water Development Board (BWDB) has canceled leave for all field level executive engineers on the upcoming Eid-ul-Fitr.
BWDB authority ordered all field level engineers to stay at their workplace compulsorily to face emergency flood in the coming monsoon. Mohammad Mahfuzur Rahman, Director General of the Board, issued this order on Tuesday.
According to the guidelines, the field level engineers of the BWDB have been asked to carry out their duties with constant care and devotion to face the possibility of flood and natural disasters ahead this monsoon.
Besides this, the Chief Engineer or caretaker engineers of the respective zones have also been told to stay compulsory in their work place.
