Bngladeshi corona vaccine will be available in December

India and Russia have succeeded in developing a vaccine against corona. it is going to come in the market very soon.

Meanwhile, the head of the research and development department of Globe Biotech Limited, Dr Asif Mahmood announced when the Bangladeshi vaccine will come to the market.

In reference to the vaccine made by Globe Pharmaceuticals Group of Companies Ltd., a subsidiary of the domestic pharmaceutical company, he told the media, “If all goes well, we hope to be able to market the vaccine by next December.”

“We're still on the animal trial, it's not over yet. We will complete the animal trial and apply for the human trial by September. The vaccine will be available in the market by December after completing three stages of human trial,” said Dr Asif Mahmood.

Regarding Globe’s potential for vaccines, he said, “Many people in the world are now trying for vaccines. Russia has already announced their one. Several more announcements will come soon. I don't know if anyone is working on vaccine in Bangladesh. So if anyone in the country can, we can.”

He added, “Because, we have started the work. Globe has not come so far to stop. Of course we want to see the end of it.”

Meanwhile, in the last 24 hours, the number of corona samples tested and identified in the country has decreased. Deaths have increased more than ever before. In the last 24 hours, 2,617 people have been diagnosed with corona. At the same time 44 people died.

2 lakh 69 thousand 115 people have been identified with corona in the country. 3,557 people have died of corona. Of the dead in 24 hours, 31 were men and 13 were women.

A statement issued by the Department of Health on Thursday said that 2,995 people had been diagnosed with corona in 24 hours on Wednesday.

According to the briefing, corona is being tested in 87 labs in the country. In the last 24 hours, 13,172 samples have been tested along with the previous ones. On the previous day, 14 thousand 751 samples were tested.

So far 13 lakh 15 thousand 901 samples have been tested. On March 8, the first corona infected person was announced in the country. The first death due to corona occurred on 18 March.
