Beximco Pharma launches GENSULIN, GensuPen2

Beximco Pharmaceuticals Limited has engraved another milestone in the history of Bangladesh by launching clinically proven high quality European Insulin "GENSULIN".

The leading pharmacy company has also introduced automated ergonomic insulin injecting device "GensuPen2" for the first time in Bangladesh. In presence of prominent medical professionals, Beximco has officially brought the medicines in an event. 

The event was graced by Professor Emeritus Hajera Mahtab, Professor Emeritus and Chief Consultant Medicine of BIHS General Hospital as the chairperson, said a press release.

Prof AK Azad Khan, President of Diabetes Association of Bangladesh and Chairman of Board of Trustees of Bangladesh University of Health Sciences was present as chief guest.

The panel of experts were Prof Md. Faruque Pathan, Department of Endocrinology, BIRDEM General Hospital, Prof Dr. Abdus Saleque Mollah, Professor & Head (Retd), Department of Endocrinology, Chittagong Medical College; Prof. Farid Uddin, Chairman, Dept of Endocrinology, Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University; Prof. Dr. Mohammad Abdul Jalil Ansari, Professor and Head, Dept of Endocrinology, Dhaka Medical College & Hospital; Prof Dr. Nazrul Islam Siddiqui, Professor and Head, Dept of Endocrinology, Mymensingh Medical College and Hospital; Prof. Liaque Ahmed Khan, Dept of Endocrinology & Metabolism,  Dhaka Central International Medical College and Hospital; Prof. Dr M A Hasanat, former Chairman, Deptof Endocrinology, Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University; Dr. M A Samad, CEO & Consultant of National Healthcare Network.

The panel discussion was moderated by Dr. Indrajit Prasad, Associate Professor at Dept of Endocrinology of Dhaka Medical College.

Two distinguished foreign physicians - Professor Leszek Czupryniak, Head of Department of Diabetology and Internal Medicine, Warsaw Medical University, Warsaw, Poland and Dr. Melanie Basio Duran, MD-Diabetologist, The New Beato-Caulin Hospital, Tunasan, Muntinlupa City & Tokyo HealthlinkInc also spoke on the occasion.

Participating in the event, more than 600 healthcare professionals have expressed their confidence in GENSULIN and the automatic ergonomic insulin injecting device Gensupen2. They said that BeximcoPharma has maintaining its legacy of being a pioneer in making life easier for Bangladeshi patients.
