He was addressing the formal inauguration ceremony of the newly constructed Customs Office Building of BEPZA on Monday at the Chattogram EPZ
Bangladesh Export Processing Zone's Authority (BEPZA) has inaugurated this new customs office with an aim to ease the doing business for the investors.
Major General Md Nazrul Islam, SPP, ndu, afwc, psc, G, Executive Chairman of BEPZA attended the inauguration ceremony as chief guest while Mohammad Mahbub Hasan, Joint Commissioner of Chattogram Custom House, Santosh Soren, Assistant Commissioner, Chattogram EPZ Customs Bond Commissionerate, Moshiuddin Bin Mesbah, General Manager of Chattogram EPZ and local and foreign investors of CEPZ were present at the inaugural program.
From the very beginning customs activities of Chattogram EPZ were being conducted in different buildings.
Now, investors can complete all their customs related activities in same building which will also be time consuming.
Investors of CEPZ lauded the dedicated efforts of BEPZA to provide one-stop service by shifting all the customs related activities.
