The written test for 40th Bangladesh Civil Service (BCS) will be held from January 4 to January 8. Bangladesh Public Service Commission (BPSC) today issued a notice in this regard on Tuesday. Details including seat plan and other directives will be informed through media and the commission’s website www.bpsc.gov.bd later, it said.
Written test for mandatory subjects will be held between January 4 and 8. Preliminary test of the 40th BCS was held on May 3 this year. A total of 20,277 examinees were selected for written test among around 3,27,000 candidates who vied for the preliminary test. A total of 4,12,532 candidates applied for the 40th BCS.
