Bashundhara to develop judicial officers’ housing project in Dhaka

East West Property Development Limited (EWPDL), a concern of the country’s leading business conglomerate Bashundhara Group, has signed a registry agreement to develop Judicial Officers’ Housing Project in the capital.

EWPDL signed a registry agreement with Judicial Officers’ Multipurpose Cooperative Society Limited on Thursday

Bashundhara Group Chairman Ahmed Akbar Sobhan and Mohammad Shawkat Ali Chowdhury, Dhaka District and Sessions Judge and President of Bangladesh Judicial Service Association; Bikash Kumar Saha, joint secretary of the Law and Justice Division and also the secretary-general of Bangladesh Judicial Service Association, signed the agreement on behalf of their respective sides at the residence of Bashundhara Group Chairman at Bashundhara Residential Area in the city.

Under the agreement, EWPDL will prepare plots for a housing project on 4,272 kathas of land at Kuril 300ft area, next to the housing project for BCS (administration) at the north side of Kuril-Purbachal highway.  

Plots will be prepared on 3,288 kathas of land of and rest of the lands will be used for other amenities like drainage system, educational institutions, shopping centres, playgrounds, religious establishments and amusement parks.

There will be a total of 874 plots including 333 five-katha plots. The rest of the plots will be three kathas each. Law and Justice Division Secretary Md Golam Sarwar and other members of the Association were present at the agreement-signing ceremony.
