Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal on Thursday said the government will build barbed wire fences around the Refugee camps in Cox’s Bazar soon aiming to stop spreading Rohingyas across the country. “We will soon set barbed wire fences around the camps as per the directive of the Prime Minister to maintain law and order in the camps and ensure safety and security,” he said this while talking to reporters after a meeting with US Ambassador Earl R Miller at Secretariat in the capital.

Earlier in the morning, a European Union delegation led by Canadian High Commissioner in Dhaka Benoit Préfontaine met the minister at the secretariat. Bangladesh is currently now hosting over 1.1 million Rohingyas and most of them entered Bangladesh since August 25, 2017. He said “the diplomats wanted to know about our opinions regarding Rohingyas. We informed them that the crisis will be solved anytime’.
