NCC Bank Ltd. has formally opened its 120th Branch at Chawkbazar of Chittagong in a ceremony on Thursday.
Chairman of the Bank Md. Nurun Newaz Salim formally inaugurated the branch as chief guest while Managing Director & CEO, Mosleh Uddin Ahmed presided over the ceremony.
Director & Chairman of the Executive Committee S.M. Abu Mohsin, Director & Chairman of the Risk Management Committee Khairul Alam Chaklader, Director & Ex-Chairman Amjadul Ferdous Chowdhury and Ex-Chairman Yakub Ali Montu graced the occasion as special guest.
Besides, Chairman of Astech Group & former President of Chittagong Chamber of Commerce & Industry Engr. Ali Ahmed, Director of Chittagong Chamber of Commerce & Industry Mahfazul Hoque Shah, local Ward Commissioner Golam Habib Mintu, Head of Marketing & Branches Division Md. Abdullah-al-Kafi Mazumder along with other Senior Executives of NCC Bank, Businessmen & local elites were also present at the inaugural ceremony.
Chairman of the Bank Md. Nurun Newaz Salim in his speech said that banking sector is one of the major driving forces for the overall economic development of the country. Referring to the contribution of banking sector for poverty alleviation, socio-economic development as well as trade and commerce he said, NCC Bank has been expanding its banking activities considering the overall development of different areas of the country. In order to extend better services and to meet clients' increasing demand, NCC bank has opened its Chawkbazar Branch in Chittagong. He urged the local businessmen and professionals to avail the banking facility to expand their ventures.
Managing Director & CEO Mosleh Uddin Ahmed said that NCC Bank priorities in providing better customer services through proper use of modern technology in this era of globalization.
