ABM Fazle Karim Chowdhury, Chairman of the Parliamentary Standing Committee on the Ministry of Railways, has announced the installation of murals of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman in front of the Central Railway Building (CRB) in Chattogram city. He visited the site of Bangabandhu's mural at CRB on Monday afternoon.
Senior officials including Railway General Manager (GM) Nasir Uddin Ahmed, Chief Engineer Sabuktagin, Chief Real Estate Officer Ishrat Reza were present on the occasion.
After the inspection, ABM Fazle Karim Chowdhury said the mural of Bangabandhu would be set up with railway financing. We have already seen several designs. An interesting mural of Bangabandhu will be placed here. The mural is being set up on the birth anniversary of Bangabandh He said the international standard Radisson Blue Hotel is next to it. Domestic and foreign guests visit the CRB. So I want to transform CRB into a beautiful place like Singapore.
