BAF replaces new contingent in Mali

Bangladesh Air Force (BAF) replaced its contingent at United Nations Peacekeeping Mission in Republic of Mali (MINUSMA), said ISPR. Total 110 BAF members left Dhaka for Mali by UN chartered aircraft on Sunday as replacement. Group Captain Md Zahidul Islam Khan will lead the contingent of BAF contingent in Mali. It is mentionable that BAF has achieved reputation and glory by performing their duties in mitigating conflict with efficiency, 

professionalism and sincerity in Mali. Special Munajat was offered prior to their departure for Mali at departure lounge of Hazrat Shahjahal International Airport (HSIA) seeking excellence of the contingent in future. Senior BAF officers were present at the airport during departure. Earlier, on December 24, Chief of Air Staff Air Chief Marshal Masihuzzaman Serniabat briefed the contingent members and took part in a special Munajat for success of the mission.
