'Baahubali' actress, Anushka Shetty, has once again hit the headlines after the news of her wedding spread like a wildfire over social media. If the recent reports are to be believed, the talented actress is all set to tie the knot with 'Judgementall Hai Kya' director Prakash Kovelamudi. Prakash, who separated from his first wife, Bollywood writer Kanika Dikkon almost two years ago, is the son of veteran director K Raghavendra Rao. While, both Anushka and Prakash have been in the limelight due to their relationship rumours from quite some time now, none of them have made any official statement on their relationship status or the marriage news yet.
Anushka Shetty is among the few actresses in the country who can carry the entire film on their shoulders. Her trademark quality is to extract massive footfalls in the theatre without depending on a bankable male lead. Be it a period drama, suspense-thriller or a romantic comedy, the 38-year-old diva has proved her mettle time and time again with her solid acting chops and arresting screen-presence.
Sources claim that the duo has been seeing each other since they worked together in the 2015 Telugu-Tamil film Size Zero. However, neither of the celebs reacted to the news.
A couple of months ago, rumours went rife that Anushka is dating an Indian cricketer who hails from north India and plays for a south Ranji team. At the end of the day, the news turned out to be false.
After making his protagonist debut with the 2002 Telugu film Neetho, Prakash shifted his focus towards direction and helmed the award-winning children’s film Bommalata. His last directorial was Kangana Ranaut’s ‘Judgementall Hai Kya’.
On the work front, Madhavan and Anushka Shetty’s forthcoming film ‘Nishabdham’ is gearing up for a worldwide release on April 2.
