Army provides medical services to pregnant women marking Mujib Barsho

Marking the birth centenary of the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, Bangladesh Army provided free medical services and distributed free medicine among pregnant mothers in Rajbari on Monday morning. 

About, 300 to 400 pregnant mothers were provided medical service at the time. 41 Field Ambulance, Rajbari Civil Surgeon and Sadar Hospital organised the camp jointly.

Brigade Commander and Brigadier General Riazur Rahman of the 55th Infantry Division inaugurated the day-long medical service camp at Rajbari Government High School premises.

Lieutenant Colonel Manjurul Haque, Commanding Officer of 10th East Bengal Regiment, Major Sabri Mohammad Pritam of 3rd Engineer Battalion, Major Mirza Imran Hossain, Captain Ridwan Rahman, Captain Harun Aur Rashid and others were present on the occasion. 

After inaugurating the medical services camp, Brigadier General Riazur Rahman said, "We are organizing this on the occasion of Mujib's Barsho. We want every child to be born healthy and strong this year. 

In this context, the Bangladesh Army is distributing free medical services and medicines to pregnant mothers”. He also said that this medical service camp will be organized at every upazila level in future.
