Army medical camp held at Sarishabari

Bangladesh Army has distributed free medical services and medicines to the people in the remote areas of Sarishabari in Jamalpur while maintaining social distance. The medical camp was set up under the supervision of Ghatail Cantonment.

A day-long medical service was conducted at Boyra Israel Ahmed High School ground in Pogaldigha Union of the upazila on Thursday morning. At that time Captain Lutfar Rahman of Ghatail Cantonment was in charge of setting up and managing the medical camp. During this time, more than 300 people were provided with free prescriptions and medicines.

Member of Parliament and State Minister for Information Alhaj Dr Murad Hasan MP welcomed and thanked the army for its initiative. Alhaj Dr Murad Hasan MP thanked the army and said that the helpless people in the area have benefited immensely from the free medical camp organized by the army. He called on the army to stand by these people in the days to come.

In this regard, Captain Lutfar Rahman of Ghatail Cantonment said, “Currently, due to the coronavirus epidemic, many ordinary patients are afraid to go to the hospital for first aid. We have come up with all kinds of medicines to alleviate people's fears, including providing free medical services and medicines in consultation with specialist doctors.”
