Primeasia University and Suchinta Foundation has jointly organized a seminar against terrorism on ‘Jago Tarunno, Rukho Jongibad’ last Tuesday at the IQAC Conference Center of Primeasia University, Banani, Dhaka.
Dr Murad Hassan, MP State Minister of Ministry of Information was present as the chief guest while Prof Dr Abdul Hannan Chowdhury, Vice Chancellor of Primeasia University presided over the seminar.
AKM Ashraful Haque, Treasurer and Abul Kashem Molla, Registrar of Primeasia University, Aruna Biswas, the National Filmfare Awarded Actress, AKM Azharul Islam Arun, Coordinator, Team Nowka were present in the seminar as the special guests. Zabbar Hossain, editor of Aaj Sarabela was the anchor of the seminar.
Dr Murad Hassan said in the seminar that there are no ideals, logic or future of terrorism. The present government of Bangladesh is serious in demolishing its roots and finding solutions for preventing militancy and terrorism to prevail peace in the country.
Among others, Deans of different Schools, Head of the departments, faculty members, officers and students from different departments of Primeasia University took part in the programme.
