Alpha world TV premier on Eid

Alpha’ was released on 23 April in the country's cinema halls directed by prominent film director Nasiruddin Yusuf. The film has been shown at various film festivals across the country and abroad since its release. But this time, considering the small screen audience, the film is going to get its television premier on Channel-i this coming Eid-ul-Adha.

According to Channel-i's program section, the film will be shown at 11:30 am on the 5th day of the Eid-ul-Adha. The film has recently been screened at the SAARC Film Festival.

The story of 'Alpha' has been developed centered around a third world urban citizen. The story tells the life tale of a painter living in the routine bound life in an urban setting in constant fight with his inner conflict. 

Actor Alamgir Kabir has played the lead role of the film. In addition, more familiar faces can be seen as veteran actor ATM Shamsuzzaman and Doyle Mash has acted in the film.

Hira Chowdhury, Israt Nishat, Mustafiz Noor Imran and Bhaskar Rasena have also played roles in the film. Apart from the main characters, the actors have been selected through auditions. Nasir Uddin Yusuf, the director, said that most of the cast came from the stage.

In addition to managing this film created under the Impress Telefilm banner, Nasir Uddin Yusuf Bachchu wrote the story and screenplay which was edited by Catherine Masud. And, Esha Yusuf acted as the film's executive producer.
