Detective Branch of Police (DB) in a drive detained an alleged drug peddler with 1,500 yaba tablets from Ala Munshi Mor area on Narail-Kalnaghat highway under Lohagora upazila of the district on Saturday night.
The arrestee was identified as Al-Amin Mollick, 25, son of Borhan Mollick, a resident of Char-Mollickpur village of Lohagora upazila.
Being tipped off, a team of DB police conducted the raid at Ala Munshi Mor area on Saturday night at 7:30 pm and arrested Al-Amin Mollick, with 1,500 yaba tablets.
Police Super Md Jashim Uddin said this at a press briefing at his conference room on Sunday noon. Officer in charge (OC) of Detective Branch of Police in Narail Ashikur Rahman among other was present at the press briefing.
