All involved in Abrar killing to be brought to book: Anisul

Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Anisul Huq on Thursday said that all those involved in the killing of BUET student Abrar Fahad will be brought to book, reports BSS.

“After the completion of the investigation of the Abrar killing, the names which will come out in the report will be dealt with sternly,” he told newsmen. He was speaking with the journalists after the inaugural ceremony of the newly constructed Chief Judicial Magistrate Court building here.

Anisul said the investigation of the case is progressing speedily, hoping all the accused would be indentified. All those who would be found guilty would be punished irrespective of their political affiliation. With Noakhali District and Sessions Judge Saleh Uddin Ahmed in the chair, the inaugural ceremony was attended, among others, by lawmaker and District Awami League (AL) General Secretary Ekramul Karim Chowdhury, local lawmaker Ayesha Ferdous, Farida Khanam, MP, District AL President Khairul Anam Selim, and Law and Justice Division Secretary Golam Sarwar.
