The ruling Awami League has taken programmes to celebrate the 120th birth anniversary of Nation Poet Kazi Nazrul Islam today, reports BSS. To mark the day, AL leaders and workers will place wreaths at the grave of the national poet on the premises of Dhaka University central mosque at 8am.
In a press release signed by party’s General Secretary and Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader urged leaders and workers of all units of AL and its associate and like-minded bodies to observe the birth anniversary of the poet in a befitting manner.
