Al Haramain Securities begins journey with grand opening

Al Haramain Securities Limited, a new stock brokerage house, began its journey with grand opening. 

The official commencement and the inauguration of Al Haramain Securities Limited took place at Thursday (November 17) to facilitate trading to investors in capital markets.

Prof Shibli Rabayet-ul Islam, chairman of Bangladesh Securities and Exchange Commission, graced his presence on the event and inaugurated the brokerage house as chief guest.

Md. Eunusur Rahman, chairman of Dhaka Stock Exchange Limited, was also present as a special guest during the official inauguration located at the heart of Jamuna Future Park in the capital.

Chairman and Managing Director of Al Haramain group of companies attended the celebration followed by Mohammad Mahtabur Rahman, chairman of NRB Bank, and Al Mohammad Oliur Rahman, chairman of Haramine Securities Limited. 

Renowned businessmen and eminent personalities attended the occasion. Among them, Liaquat Ali Khan Mukul, chairman of Rupayan Group, Selim Reza, former railways secretary, Abdul Wadud director of Jamuna Group,  Aziz Al-Kaiser, chairman of City Bank, and Mohammed Younus, chairman of Shajahal Islamic Bank. 

Addressing the function, Prof Shibli Rubayat-ul Islam said that the Al Haramain Securities has adopted the latest innovations in trading in the capital market. It has set up office at Jamuna Future Park which inspire potentials investors from Bashundhara, Baridhara area in securities trading. 

He called upon all to avoid propaganda about money market on social media to lead the country to the next level of development. He applauded the contribution of Al Haramain Group Chairman Mahtabur Rahman for supporting the country's economy from abroad.

Al Haramain Group Chairman Mahtabur Rahman said that the capital market has emerged as a new window for flourishing economy. There are many foreign investors pledged investment in Bangladesh through capital market. He called upon the investors to learn audited annual report before investing in securities of any company. Al Haramain Securities Limited is a sister concern of Al Haramain Perfumes Group.
