Al-Arafah Islami Bank opens Jamgora branch

Al-Arafah Islami Bank Ltd has opened the 172nd branch at Jamgora, Ashulia in Dhaka on Tuesday.  Chairman of Executive Committee of the Bank Alhajj Hafez Md. Enayet Ullah inaugurated the branch as the chief guest. Managing Director and CEO Farman R Chowdhury presided over the ceremony, said a press release.  Executive Vice President and Head of AIBL Dhaka North Zone Md. Monjurul Alam delivered the welcome speech. Senior Executive Vice President Kazi Mahmood Karim was present in the occasion.  Bank’s Executive Vice President Engr. Md. Habib Ullah, Managing Director of Happy Fashion Mahbubur Rahman and Managing Director of Labaid Hospital Md. Moshiur Rahman were present.

Vice President and Head of PR Jalal Ahmed moderated the programme. A large number of local people and well-wishers were present in the inauguration. Manager of the branch M Samsuddin Ahmed thanked the audience.  Hafez Md. Enayet Ullah, in his speech, said Al-Arafah Islami Bank Ltd. was established not for making profit by doing business but for the welfare of the society. He invited all to have the blessings of Islamic banking service in the new branch. He also said, Islamic banking system can boost-up the economy of the country.
