A discussion meeting, science fair and prize distribution ceremony on the occasion of 44th National Science and Technology Week and 7th Science Olympiad-2022 were completed at Jhikargacha, Jessore with great enthusiasm. Akiz Collegiate School has achieved incredible success in this 2-day program organized by Jhikargacha Upazila Administration and Upazila Secondary Education Office on Saturday.
Akij Collegiate School bagged 1st place in both school-college level in science project making, 1st place in college level in science olympiad and 1st and 2nd place in college level in speech competition. Students of various secondary and college level institutions of Jhikargacha upazila spontaneously participated in this event.
Member of Parliament Dr. Nasir Uddin, Jhikargacha Upazila Chairman Monirul Islam, Jhikargacha Upazila Vice Chairman Salim Reza, Upazila Executive Officer Mahbubul Haque were present. At the end of the two-day event, the guests handed over the crest to the winners.
The guests said that the importance of science in building a developed and modern world and country is immense. We need to increase the use of science and technology to keep up with the trend of technology.
Through these programs, students will be interested in innovation and technology will spread among them.
