Air chief inaugurates BAF Shaheen College in Bogura

Air Chief Marshal Masihuzzaman Serniabat on Wednesday inaugurated BAF Shaheen College Bogura campus at Baropur of the district, said ISPR. The Air Chief also unveiled the plaque of the newly constructed building, distributed books among the students and inaugurated academic activities of the institute.

While addressing, the Air Chief advised students to prepare themselves as good citizens of the country utilizing the modern facilities of the newly constructed educational institute. Besides, he instructed all concerned to take necessary steps with utmost sincerity and dedication for converting this college as an ideal educational institution. He urged local people to cooperate for overall development of the institute.

Among others, senior military and civil officers, local dignitaries, teachers, staffs and students of the college were present at the inaugural ceremony of the colloge. He was received by chairman of the governing body, project director and principal of the college.

Infrastructure of the college was constructed under Annual Development Programme of the government. A total of 1900 students from class KG to XII will get opportunity to receive quality education with modern facilities from the college. It is expected that this newly established institute will be able to play significant role in eliminating illiteracy, poverty alleviation, socio-economic development as a whole for sustainable development of the country.
