A total of 8 lakh 37 thousand 3 hundred and 75 students of primary and secondary schools will receive 70 lakh 44 thousand 4 hundred and 40 text books free of cost on the 1st day of January, 2020 in Kishoreganj District.
Kishoreganj Education Officer (In-charge) Md. Zulfiqur Hossain said about 48 lakh 36 thousand 6 hundred and 52 text books will be distributed among the 3 lakh 65 thousand 3 hundred and 69 students of all the secondary level schools, vocational institute and madrasas.
District Primary Education Officer Subrata Kumar Bonik said 22 lakh 7 thousand 7 hundred and 88 textbooks will be distributed among the 4 lakh 72 thousand and 6 students of the primary level schools including 1327 government primary schools in the district on the 1st January, 2020.
All the students of kindergarten schools and Ibtedayee madrasas also will receive textbooks in the district at the same time, the sources added.
