42nd BCS Viva voce postponed

The Public Service Commission (PSC) has postponed the ongoing 42nd BCS (Special) viva voce, for recruiting physicians, due to a surge in Corona virus transmission.

PSC confirmed it through a notice, which was later uploaded to the PSC website on Tuesday. It said that the examination to be held from June 27 has been postponed until further notice. The next date and time of the examination will be informed in due course.

Earlier, on May 18, the 42nd BCS (Special) Viva was postponed for the first time which was supposed to start from May 23. Later, through another notice, Viva voce began from June 6.

In this regard, PSC Public Relations Officer Israt Sharmin Ishita told the media that the 42nd BCS viva voce has been postponed from June 27.

This 42nd special BCS is being taken to appoint government doctors. The preliminary examination (written) for this BCS was held on 26th February. PSC published the result on March 29, where 6,022 doctors passed.
