The three daylong Agriculture Fair held at Shaheed Doulat Maidan in Cox's Bazar ended on Wednesday. The fair was organised under the project of 'Integrated Agriculture Development through Nutrition and Food Security Enhancement'.
Md Kamal Hossain, Deputy Commissioner (DC) of Cox's Bazar, was present at the closing session of the fair as the chief guest.
The DC said that, “we cannot think our existence without tree. It can bring prosperity of a country. Everyone should plant trees in the courtyard and abandoned area.”
Mohammad Shahjahan Ali, Additional district magistrate was present there as special guest. AKM Shahriar, Deputy Director of Cox’s Bazar Department of Agriculture Extension, presided over the function.
At the function, they distributed fruits and seedlings in the fair.
Deputy Director of Cox's Bazar DAE, Krishibid AKM Shahriar, expressed gratitude to the organisers and concerned people participating in the that fair.
