Members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) arrested two alleged drug traders with 7,700 pieces of yaba tablets from Akbarshah area in Chattogram city on early Saturday, reports BSS.
The arrested were identified as Mohammad Tuhin Islam, 29, hailed from Dhaka and private car driver Nur Jamal, 30, hailed from Faridpur district.
Being informed, a team of the elite force intercepted a Dhaka-bound private car in the area at about 2.30 am and arrested them with the yaba tablets, said RAB assistant superintendent of police Tareaq Aziz. A case was filed in this connection.
