Two cows of farmer Saiful Islam were burnt to death in a fire at Mohisapara village under Mollicpur union of Lohagora upazila in Narail early on Wednesday.
Fire service sources said the fire originated from Saiful Islam’s cow farm room from mosquito coils around 5:00 am and quickly engulfed the room. The two cows were burnt to death and another two cows received burn injuries.
Locals rushed to the spot and doused the blaze several hours after frantic efforts, said Md.Mokarrom Hossain, said Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Lohagora police station.
