2 BD nationals gunned down in six days

In the latest carnage of Border Security Force (BSF) of India, the BSF personnel gunned down two Bangladeshi cattle traders on Jhenidah frontier in last six days. The Bangladeshis met their tragic end in the early hours of Friday near the main pillar of 60/133-134 at Shilgate under Hanshkhali police station of Nadia district.

The dead were Sumon Hossain, 25, son of Abdul Mannan of Shyamkur village in Moheshpur upazila and Abdur Rahim, son of Kashem Ali of Bauli village of Moheshpur upazila. Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) 58 battalion deputy commander Qamrul Hasan said Sumon Hossain went to Indian territory to bring back cattle heads. At about 4.00 am when he reached near Shigate, the Indian border guards of Pakhiura camp shot him to death on the spot.

The body of Sumon was lying with Pakhiura BSF camp and Hanshkhali police. The BGB sent a letter to bring the body of Sumon Hossain back home. The BSF personnel gunned down Bangladeshi cattle trader Abdur Rahim near the main pillar 60. Habashpur BSF camp personnel under Dhantali of Nadia district caught him there and shot him to dead.
