Detective Branch of Cox’s Bazar District detains 18 members of teen gang from various areas of Cox’s Bazar on Saturday.
The detainees were identified as Arafat,19, son of Jalal Ahmed, hailed from Noapara area under Lohagara thana, Md Abbas,30, son of Nurul Haque hailed from Doraidighi area under Ramu thana, Md Idris,28, Nurul Islam,18, Janee Alom,29, Riad,17, Absar Mia,20, Obaidul Hasan,20, Md Rassel,18 Md Shariful Islam,19, Shahjahan,28, Kawsar Molla and others.
Inspector of district DB police, Manos Barua confirmed the matter.
However, to stop terrorist activities by teenage gang, petrol team of DB police increased their drive.
Manus Barua said detainees all are involved in the eve-teasing as well as various terrorist activities.
Interrogation is going on them. Later, we will take legal action against them, he added.
