A total of 111 dengue patients have been detected from July 27 in Khagrachhari. 19 of them are receiving treatment at hospitals in the districts and other hospitals in Chattogram region. A total of five dengue patients including children were admitted to Khagrachhari Sadar Hospital over the last 24 hours till Monday morning.
The rest of the dengue patients attained full recovery after receiving treatment. Inspection centers were opened for dengue-infected patients of the district. “Most of the detected patients got infected with dengue fever locally. There is no need to panic about it,” said Khagrachhari Sadar Hospital’s residential Dr. Nayon Moy Tripura. He said that they are working in this regard.
