A total of 1,06,463 doses of Covid-19 jabs were administered on Tuesday as the first, second and booster doses raising the total number of vaccinated jabs to three crore 44 lakh 77 thousand and 673 doses in Rangpur division.
“Among the administered Covid-19 jabs on Tuesday, 97,579 doses were inoculated to the students aged 5-11 years as the first doses and 6,141 jabs as the second doses,” Acting Divisional Director (Health) Dr Habibur Rahman said.
So far, a total of 15,77,287 students aged 5-11 years of 4,386 primary level educational institutions were administered with the first doses, and of them, 18,208 students with the second doses of the Covid-19 jabs in the division.
Till Tuesday, a total of 1,52,39,589 people, including students, got the first doses of Covid-19 jabs, and of them, 1,32,79,985 got the second doses and 59,58,099 got the booster doses in the division.
Meanwhile, the total number of Covid-19 patients remained steady at 64,948 as no fresh Covid-19 cases were diagnosed after testing 61 new samples on Tuesday.
The number of recovered Covid-19 patients remained steady at 63,621 no more patients healed during the last 24 hours ending at 8 am today in the division. “Besides, the number of casualties also remained steady at 1,293 as no new death was reported during the last 24 hours,” Dr Rahman said.
