LGRD and Cooperative minister Khandker Mosharraf Hossain on Friday urged the grassroots people to work unitedly to get back Awami League in power again for more development of the country.
“United work of grassroots people will be one of the most effective measures for winning the upcoming national election,” he said.
The minister said these in view exchange meeting with the grassroots leaders and activists of Awami League in Faridpur town. The program was held on the premises of his Faridpur residence at Badarpur village in the town in the morning. The minister said that the combined workforce and movement of the leaders and activists of AL across the country must bring Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina in power again.
Presided over by Nazmul Islam Khandker Levi, the programme was addressed, among others, by president of town Awami League and Zila Parishad Chairman Lokman Hossai Mridah, district AL president advocate Subol Saha, sadar upazila chairman Khandker Mohtesham Hossain Babor, Faridpur pourashava mayor Mahatab Ali Methu and woman leader Jhorna Hasan.
Chowdhury Barkot Ibne Salam, secretary of Faridpur town AL, conducted the meeting. Many leaders and activists of grassroots level attended the program.
