The government has awarded the National Export Trophy for 2014-15 fiscal to a number of enterprises in recognition to their contributions to the country’s export.
Tofail Ahmed M.P., Minister for Commerce handed over the trophies and certificates to award winners at a ceremony at Osman Memorial Auditorium in Dhaka on Sunday, said a press release.
The trophies were given in three categories – gold, silver and bronze. Several important export-oriented enterprises participated in the event.
ServicEngine won the National Export Gold Trophy for its contribution to the country’s export trade in computer software. ServiceEngine is a premier business process outsourcing company with multiple delivery centres in Dhaka.
ServicEngine is the lone Bangladeshi company that has been placed in the top 100 global outsourcing companies as per the ranking of IAOP (International Association of Outsourcing Professionals).
It specialises in Back Office Processing, Digital Advertising Operations, Web and Software Development, Data Aggregation and Analysis, and Quality Assurance and Testing in Digital Publishing, Financial & Risk Compliance Sector, among many countries.
A.S.M. Mohiuddin Monem, Chairman and Co-founder of ServicEngine BPO, has been receiving the export trophy for the last four consecutive years for ServicEngine’s contributions to achieve the government’s target of building a Digital Bangladesh under its Vision 2021.
He also holds the title of CIP (Commercially Important Person) and received the ‘President’s Award for Industrial Development’ under the High-Tech Industries category for the same company.
