A schoolgirl, who went missing from Faridpur six days ago, was rescued from Bishil area under Shah Ali area in the capital city on Friday.
A team of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB)-8 rescued the girl from a
rented house at about 5:30 am. Company commander Md Rais Uddin led the raid.
It was known that the 8th grader of Ishan Memorial Institute fled home on June 30 following an altercation with her parents from Charanshipur village in Sadar upazila.
Later, her father filed a general diary with Kotwali Police Station.
