Leathergoods and Footwear Manufacturers & Exporters Association of Bangladesh (LFMEAB) led by its President Md. Saiful Islam met Commerce Minister Tipu Munshi, MP at the minister’s office on Thursday.
Nasim Manzur, Advisor, Md. Nazmul Hassan Sohail, vice president, M. Anisur Razzaque, director, Ziaur Rahman, director, Ms. Kazi Roushan Ara, executive director were present, said a press release.
President of LFMEAB introduced Board of Directors and briefed leathergoods and footwear export sector, key vision and mission of LFMEAB to the minister.
He also recognised the roles of Ministry of Commerce in formulating and executing policies concerning trade and commerce for facilitating export within the context of competitive global trade.
LFMEAB delegation hoped that the prudent leadership of the minister will create ample scopes for export enhancement of Bangladesh as well as continue collaboration in executing sectoral roadmap and branding Bangladesh Leatherfootwear & Leathergoods International Sourcing Show (BLLISS).
