Dr Kamal Hossain along with Tarique Rahman is hatching conspiracy against the country.
Prime minister’s ICT Adviser and son Sajeeb Wazed Joy said this adding that Oikyafront has been formed to save BNP from its decay and stop the continuation of the country’s development under the incumbent Awami League-led government. But none can defeat the ruling Awami League in the next national general elections, Joy asserted.
He came up with these comments while addressing a seminar, organized by Suchinta Foundation, on current political situation of the country, at Hotel Radisson in the capital on Saturday.
“Through a survey I have found that no party in the country at present can defeat Awami League. The genteel can do nothing and we do not care them,” he added.
Joy claimed that they who have no popular base want to create fear for Awami League but we are not afraid at all.
Awami League took over the rule through votes, not using gun-power, he added.
Hence, BNP being merged with the Jamaat and the civil society (Sushil Samaj) cannot defeat Awami League in any way.
Tarique Rahman, who has been awarded life-time imprisonment by the court in connection to the 21st grenade attack case, will be brought back to the country and the verdict against him will be implemented, Joy informed on the occasion.
He said no mercy for those who killed people through setting fire and sheltering militancy.
“We will continuously taking legal steps for them,” Joy added.
On the occasion, he also raised question marking some Oikyafront leaders’ statements about arresting of their activists, that “how many leaders were killed during BNP’s regime? Can they recall that?”
So why they (Oikyafront leaders) are delivering such types of statements, Joy said.
