One of junior poets of Nilphamari receives prize from Cultural Affair Minister Asaduzzaman Noor at the event held at Central Shaheed Minar on Tuesday.

A total of 457 junior poets from 421 different educational institutions in Nilphamari district received prizes like crest, hundred taka prize bond, book and certificate.
The prize giving ceremony was held at Central Shaheed Minar Chattar under Sadar upazila of the district on Tuesday morning. Nilphamari district unit of Vision-2021 organised the function.
Over 22,500 students of different institutions from the district participated in the poetry writing competition. “I am happy to participate in the competition. Because, I received so many knowledges from the competition, which I will play in my future education life”, said a prize holder Rifaya Nanziba, student of class three form Al-Helal Academy of Sadar upazila of the district.
Cultural Affair Minister Asaduzzaman Noor attended the program as the chief guest. Mayor of the municipality Dewan Kamal Ahmed, Advocate Momtazul Haque, general secretary of Bangadesh Awami League, Nilphamari district among others were present as special guests. Journalists from different print and electronic media were also present the event.
While contracted, Wadud Rahman, chief coordinator of the Vision-2021 of Nilphamari unit, told Bangladesh Post, “We launched a book publishing ceremony named ‘Amra Kishor- Amra Nabin on November, 27, 2018. Vision-2021 works to the root level of society. We have tried our level best to find out the dormant talent of the children. To fulfill the target, more than 600 volunteers have worked here. We hope we will continue the activities in future”.
