Posts, Telecommunications and Information Technology Minister Mustafa Jabbar and State Minister for ICT Division Zunaid Ahmed Palak are present at a workshop at the ministry in Dhaka on Tuesday.

Posts, Telecommunications and Information Technology Minister Mustafa Jabbar and State Minister for ICT Division Zunaid Ahmed Palak Tuesday emphasised on implementing all the pledges made in election manifesto of Awami League.
“We have to achieve all the targets of the government within this tenure.We have the responsibility of turning the whole country and the government digital,” Jabbar said, said a press release. Palak on the other hand said all have to work jointly to implement all the pledges made in the election manifesto, adding, “I am available for work 24- hour of seven days a week. You would find me by your side for any work.”
They came up with the observations while addressing the first meeting after assuming their offices in the tenure. ICT Division Secretary Zuena Aziz said the ministry is lucky to get its two
former ministers back, adding, it would make the operation easier. Jabbar and Palak both took oath yesterday and got their old offices back. Jabbar was reinstated as minister under technocrat quota, while Zunaid Ahmed Palak was elected by a huge margin from Natore-3 constituency in the 11th parliamentary elections on December 30. Palak, as a ruling Awami League candidate, bagged 2,30,327 votes with ‘boat’ symbol while his nearest contestant from BNP Daudar Mahmud secured 8,841 votes with the ‘sheaf of paddy’ symbol. Mustafa Jabbar, on the other hand, is well known to the people of Bangladesh and Bengali speaking people of the world for his Bijoy Bangla
Keyboard and Software. He is the only patent holder in Bangladesh of any ICT related product (Bijoy Keyboard) till now.
Mustafa Jubbar took his oath as the Minister for the first time on 2nd January, 2018. He was given the charge of the Ministry of Post, Telecommunication & Information Technology.
