The authority of Islamic University (IU) in Kushtia formed a five member probe body to investigate the inconsistency of question paper at ‘C’ unit admission test of the university, IU registrar office sources said on Tuesday evening.
The decision came from an emergency meeting of the university central admission test committee chaired by vice chancellor Prof Dr M Harun-Ur-Rashid Askari at its conference room.
Prof Dr M Jakariya Rahman, chairman of Marketing department, was made as the convener of the body, said IU registrar in-charge SM Abdul Latif. The other members of the probe body are Prof Saiful Islam of management department, Prof Dr M Johirul Islam, chairman of Law department, Prof Dr Poresh Chandra Barman of Information and Communication Engineering department, and Prof Dr Jakir Hossain of Accounting and Information System department.
The authority asked the probe body to submit their investigation reports within five working days.
Besides, they formed a new co-coordinator committee of the unit with Prof Dr Jakaria Rahman, Prof Dr M Mizanoor Rahman and Prof Saiful Islam under the faculty.
The admission test of ‘C’ unit was held on Monday morning under business administration faculty while dissimilarities between question paper and Optical Mark Reader (OMR) sheets were found.
