INCIDIN Bangladesh, a non-profit rights based organisation, celebrated the International Child Rights Week 2018 amid much fanfare and festivity, says a press release.
The organisation observed various programmes in this regard in its five multiple activity centers (MAC) in Dhaka with the slogan ‘Gorte Shishur vobissot School hobe nirapod’, meaning ‘Safe school for better future of the children’.
As the part of celebrations, different game competitions, TFD, and recitation competitions were held between October 18 and 23. Children participated in those competitions.
The celebration concluded on October 30 through the prize giving ceremony at its Kamalapur centre.
The prize giving ceremony was graced by the presence of Sultan Miah, ward counselor of Dhaka South City Corporation. In addition Arif Hossain, member of CBCPC, Md Mujibur Rahman, Abdur Rahman Pintu, community people, children and their parents were also present in the ceremony.
