Launching ceremony of the book titled ‘In the streets of Paris’ by Abu Sufian was held on Friday, 13 July 2018 at 4 pm at Alliance Française de Dhaka, says a press release.
Professor Dr Syed Manzoorul Islam graced the occasion as the chief guest. Writer and associate editor of Prothom Alo Anisul Hoque, adviser of ATN Bangla television Nawajish Ali Khan, Seyed Mousa Hosseini, cultural counselor, Iran Cultural Center and Syed Rashidul Hasan, founder chairman of Tourism and Hospitality Management, University of Dhaka were present as special guests. A brief discussion was presented by poet and writer Mujtoba Ahmed Murshed. M Bruno Plasse, Director, Alliance Française de Dhaka presided over the event.
Through this travelogue ‘In the streets of Paris’, Abu Sufian explores the beauty of Paris. This travelogue will make readers hungry for Paris, for cheese and wine, for art and culture, the natural beauty of the city and for its one of a kind of street life.
Abu Sufian is known as the editor of travel magazine ‘Vromon’ to its readers. The Bangla version of the book titled ‘Paris er Pothey Pothey’ was first published in 2003. Before that, it was published as a series in Prothom Alo.
