Newly elected parliament member Adv Nurul Amin Ruhul Matlab said this at a meeting of Matlab upazila administration.
Nurul Amin Ruhul said in his speech that the government has achieved recognition from LDC to developing country, behind this the government officials have a big contribution. The talent, wisdom and capability of the government officials are playing a significant role in the overall development of the country.
He also said to the officials, “You will have to implement developmental activities from your respective places without affecting the implementation of the government’s development projects. From your own responsibilities, you will work for the government for development of the area. In order to implement Digital Bangladesh announced by Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, you have to do your work diligently.”
Adv. Ruhul added, “All that needs to be done to transform Matlab into a modern upazila and facilitate the contact with the capital will be done inshallah.”
On January 9, the views exchange meeting was held in Matlab Uttar Upazila Parishad Auditorium. Chairman of Matlab North Upazila Parishad and Chandpur District Awami League Vice-President Manzur Ahmed, Upazila Nirbahi Officer Sharmin Akhter, Assistant Commissioner (Land) Shubashish Ghosh, Upazila AL President Ed, Ruhul Amani, General Secretary Muktijoddha MA Kuddus, Upazila Health Officer, Dr. Shankar Kumar Saha, Animal Resources Officer Dr Faruk Hossain, Agriculture Officer Salauddin, Paul DGM of Li Biduet Samity, Nurul Alam Bhuiyan, Officer-in-Charge of Matlab North Police Station Kabir Hossain and other officials were present on the occasion.
MP Nurul Amin Ruhul listened carefully to the statements of divisional officials.
Suggestions were made for departmental activities to be conducted fairly and beautifully.
