Alexander Haeusler has been appointed as general manager of the luxurious Radisson Blu Dhaka Water Garden owned by Sena Hotel Developments Limited.
Alexander, an Austrian national and seasoned hotelier, has over 25 years of experience with international luxury and up market hotel groups in Europe, Middle East and Asia, said a press rlease.
He previously worked for Mövenpick Hotels and Resorts, Regal Hotels International, Starwood Hotels & Resorts as well as the legendary Royal Cliff Group of Hotels.
His competencies also include project management, management of convention centers and the pre-opening of multi-use properties.
Meanwhile, Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group has announced its rebranding to Radisson Hotel Group effective immediately. The announcement was made during at the International Hotel Investment Forum (IHIF) in Berlin recently.
The new name, Radisson Hotel Group, capitalises on a strong partnership between Radisson Hospitality, Inc.
(formerly Carlson Hotels, Inc.) and Rezidor Hotel Group AB, publicly listed on Nasdaq Stockholm, Sweden and headquartered in Brussels, Belgium, who has master franchise agreements to develop and operate several brands across Europe, the Middle East and Africa
Currently, Radisson Hotel Group – the 11th largest hotel group in the world is made up of eight hotel brands with more than 1,400 hotels in operation and under development.
