State Minister for LGRD and Cooperatives Mashiur Rahman Ranga Saturday said that the government has set up 13 milk pasteurized centers to meet the demand for milk across country and ensure its fair price.
“The government has built 13 pasteurized milk centers… besides, activities of the Milk Vita Company are going on in 2319 villages,” he said, reports BSS. The state minister was addressing a credit-distribution programme under the project titled ‘Establishment and Development of Cattle Farms in Greater Faridpur’ at a cost of about Taka 345 crore at Kotalipara in the district.
Milk Vita Chairman Sheikh Nadir Hossain Lipu presided over the meeting while Md Atahar Ali, Managing Director of Milk Vita, and Project Director Dr Md Abdul Karim also attended it, among others.
