The Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FBCCI) on Tuesday called for ensuring quality and job oriented education to accelerate further the country’s economy.
The apex trade body made the call at its standing committee meeting relating to the Ministry of Education, held at FBCCI Board Room here, said a press release, reports BSS.
The meeting decided to send a delegation of this committee to some European countries to visit several universities there to gather experiences and to prepare the recommendations for upgrading the country’s education system to make it time-befitting.
The meeting also decided to organize a seminar on ‘Quality and Job Oriented Education System of Bangladesh’ at FBCCI at the end of this month.
Chairman of the standing committee Sumon Talukdar presided over the meeting.
Director-in-Charge of the Committee Golam Mainuddin, among others, was present on
the occasion.
