Jatiya Party Chairman Hussain Muhammad Ershad left for Singapore on Monday night for medical check-up, reports BSS.
He left the Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport at 10:45pm by an aircraft SQ 447.
He will be accompanied by Jatiya Party Presidium member Ziauddin Ahmed Bablu MP and his APS M Manzurul Islam. He will come back home immediately after his treatment.
Jatiya Party will contest the 11th parliamentary polls in 174 constituencies independently and in partnership with the grand alliance in 29 constituencies, said Party Secretary General Mashiur Rahman Ranga to journalists at its Banani office in the city.
He, however, said Jatiya Party’s independent candidates will not do any harm for the grand alliance as the party will give support to those candidates who will contest under the grand alliance.
