Bangladesh High Commission participated in a charity fair organised by Hanoi International Women’s Club that was held on November 18, 2018. Different kinds of commodities and traditional foods of Bangladesh were being displayed at the fair. Bangladeshi commodities includes fine ceramic, readymade garments (RMG), plastic goods, leather bag, traditional handmade Bangladeshi Naksi-katha, jewellaries, jute-bags and tea have been displayed in the fair. Other than this Bangladeshi traditional delicious food items such as Samosa, Chicken-Kabab, Vegetable Pakora, Chicken Palau Rice, Payes were being displayed and sold at the stalls. The Bangladeshi stalls attracted much attention at the fair.
The money incurred from selling the items have been donated to the charity. The non residential Bangladeshis living at Vietnam were present at the fair. Not only them, but also the business personnel, people working at Bangladesh High Commission in Vietnam and their families were also present.
Through this fair, Bangladesh was able to represent their export quality products at Vietnam. At the end, Hanoi International Women’s Club awarded the Bangladesh Pavilion as the ‘Best Stall Award’ which was really a proud moment for Bangladesh.
