The holy Eid-e-Miladunnabi, the anniversary of birth and demise of Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH), will be observed tomorrow amid religious fervour and due solemnity across the country.
On the occasion, Religious Affairs Ministry on Monday in an inter-ministerial meeting with Religious Secretary M Anisur Rahman in the chair took a decision to observe the day in a befitting manner with elaborate programmes across the country.
President and Prime Minister will give separate messages marking the day. The national flag will be hoisted at all the government, semi-government buildings, autonomous organisations, non-government buildings and all the armed forces establishments across the country on the day.
The meeting also took a decision to display the national flags along with banners inscribed with ‘Kalima Taiyeba’ at many important points in the city. The important government and military establishments will also be decorated with illumination during the holy night.
Officials from different ministries, department and agencies including officials of Religious Affairs Ministry, among others, attended the meeting.
